The Knicks had three selections in the 2017 NBA Draft and, while the team finished the 2017-18 season with a win-loss record of 29-53, those players showed gradual improvement with their respective teams throughout the course of the season.

1. Frank Ntilikina - A 19-year-old native of Belgium, Ntilikina was selected eighth overall by the Knicks and played in 78 games as a rookie. He averaged 5.9 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game and recorded his two highest point totals (17 and 16) in the final two games of the season.

2. Damyean Dotson - Selected 44th overall by the Knicks, the 24-year-old Dotson played in 44 games and averaged 4.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.
3. Ognjen Jaramaz - This 22-year-old point guard played for the Knicks Summer League team, but returned to his club team in Serbia for the 2017-18 regular season. He was limited to eight games across three levels of competition and averaged 10.8 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.
